The first week in August is dedicated to simplifying your life. Professional organizers and scientist agree that stress can be directly linked to being unorganized. Who wants to be stressed when they can take small easy steps to be stress free? One place to start is by organizing your life. Sure that may seem like a pretty heavy task, but if you start with one area and continue working to the next it becomes a breeze!
A good starting place is the “junk drawer” in your kitchen. We all have one, and if we are being honest it holds a lot more than junk. Why not get some small bins, clear the clutter, and rename it the “go-to drawer”? Another great place is your office. Be it home or at work, if your desk looks like a 9 year old is running things you should take some time this week to organize. An even simpler task is your in-box. Email can get very unorganized very quickly. Sometimes we think we should hang onto that email when really we can delete it.
